A green-coffee price request without an aligned specification is difficult to compare. Record species, country and region, processing method, crop, screen range, defect limits, moisture, density where relevant and the intended roast or cup application.
Ask for a pre-shipment or offer sample where practical, define how it will be evaluated and keep a reference to the approved scope. Cupping feedback and physical acceptance criteria should refer to the same sample and lot logic.
Packing, shipment route and any document requirement belong in the brief. Changes in crop, grade or processing should be disclosed before a repeat order so that cup consistency can be assessed rather than assumed.
Use the guide to improve the brief—not to replace order verification.
Final quantity, sales unit, stock, price and timing remain order-specific.
